The big one is coming up next year. The 15th Worcester is up for grabs.
The contenders: Kate Toomey and Dianna Biancheria with websites touting their woefully meager credentials. Lucky us eh? The prospect of either one doesn't excite folks - noticeably failing track records.
More interesting is that a couple local seats will open up. Thinking here, just thinking. Maybe it's high time for a Wusta blogger to step forward and take the political reins - a new era in local politics. Sorta doubt it. See what happened to Tracy Novick, she touted her fringeness, but she's become the system. Thinking maybe Nicole or the losers from 2011 might be willing to sacrifice their souls for a public office. Heck ain't any prerequisites for any of the jobs. Anybody can apply. Remember, there's health insurance and a free cell phone.
But there's one issue for candidates. Hopefully ya paid your dues. Namely wads of 1's to the powerbrokers. And candidates, word of advice on those marketing dollars, spend them wisely - some outlets are cursed.
Um... wonder how City Clerk Rushford is faring? Lots of stupidity goin on in the chambers nowadays. Me thinks I'll head down tomorrow with a basket of tomatoes.
Welcome to Wusta!
