Seems everyone in Wusta is looking for a legacy.
With increasing age many folks, a few young ones too, are contemplating their legacy. For the mediocre and feeble minded among us, that dream may be difficult to realize. But there is hope for them too. May I suggest, become a tree.
Bigthink.com reports: This Awesome Urn Will Turn You into a Tree After You Die : Spanish designer Martin Azua has combined the romantic notion of life after death with an eco solution to the dirty business of the actual, you know, transition. The BiosUrn. If ya wanna leave your mark on the city, it’s the perfect legacy. Cheap, clean, and eco-friendly.
Take for example our beloved Paulie Collyer. The ole guy's been actively seeking his legacy – NOLA, blogging, real estate etc. without success. Or Nicole Apostola scurrying about, looking for the path to local fame and glory. Rumor has it that she's in talks with a couple councilors to have herself immortalized as a Worcester street sign when she transitions. Remember ole Jeff Barnard? What’s his legacy? A cartoon blog? Coulda been an mighty Oak.
Imagine ole Paulie “Urban Core” Collyer’s useless carcass planted in the fictitious Village of Piedmont on some street corner plant container. Or maybe in his beloved Elm Park. What greater legacy could there be? Remember, one tree memorial per customer. Please no forests.
So don’t waste your money on a $25,000 funeral. Give it to a charity – help the living.
Become a tree.
