Rosalie Tirella - Pimp or Publisher?

Rosalie Tirella was once considered a champion of Wusta’s underbelly. Times have changed.

There is a truism in marketing: Tits & Ass sells. Leave it to InCity Times publisher Rosalie Tirella to use sex to sell InCity Times. Content has become irrelevant. She's resorted to selling sex - Hispanic women in swimsuits offering up their womanly abundance for your perusal. Rosalie Tirella thinks that's cute. We call it racism.

How can Rosalie Tirella think pimping pics of half-naked Hispanic and Black women to a predominately white liberal female audience is a cute marketing coup? On what planet does she live?

As self-appointed advocate for the little guy it’s surprising the one sub-group Rosalie Tirella never advocated for in the pages of InCity Times was Worcester’s Hispanics and Blacks. She championed local African-American Bill Coleman’s political campaigns, only because he paid for it and he promptly lost each time. Because of his association with Tirella?

Considering Worcester’s minority socioeconomic predicament (similar to the 58 year old Tirella), she avoided addressing minority issues in 12 years of producing InCity Times, preferring instead to invest the ink in White issues - vegans and dogs. Dogs yes, minorities no. Go figa.

That brought her criticism not only from the city’s Black and Hispanic community also from the white liberal community too. Tirella unable to comprehend the nature of the criticism stubbornly stayed the course and surprisingly recruited more white contributors to fill the pages of InCity Times with white only issues.

Ignoring professional and public criticism Rosalie Tirella fought back with vehement personal attacks on anyone who criticized her KKK direction; achieving pariah status among the locals as her rants now included the blind, the infirm, ethnic groups (particularly the Irish and Italians), lesbians, firemen, police, journalists, bloggers, publishers, and even an ex-boyfriend. And for some strange reason - big breasted women.

Advertisers turned away, shocked by her maniacal rants. Businesses refused to handle InCity Times and print circulation dwindled to under 800 issues a month - where it is today. And the InCity Times website became a cesspool of repulsive rants and vile personal attacks - visitors fell to near zero. But Tirella remains unmoved. Oblivious to her issues. Deluding herself that she's a star in the Worcester media scene. Nothing could be further from the truth. She's more than a crack pot.

The moral of story? Old white women are fraught with ... beware.
