Since the departure of Scott Zoback the last two years were on balance, um.. not very interesting. The new guy never quite got the hang of it - failed at finding the pulse of city. But hey, let's not blame him. As we all know Wusta has no pulse. Rim shot!
The staff at Wonderland pondered WOMAG's action, incorporating DW into their dot.com, and concluded they're trying to boost their webstats, confirming the fact WOMAG’s web presence isn’t what they’d like you to believe and certainly not what they need to attract advertisers. In any case, WOMAG's are a lot higher than InCity Time’s no matter what Rosalie “Potty Mouth” Tirella maintains.
Apropos ICT. Mosey on over to InCity’s blog. Yup, Rosie’s at it again. And as usual making an ass of herself. The target this week of the Tirella Tirade is none other than Wusta’s favorite blogga: Will W. W.
Again Ms. Tirella has bitten off more than she can chew, going so far as to state that ICT's impact on the city is of inestimable cultural and political value, that ICT is the soul of the city. The voice of the people, no less. Voice eh? Wanna bet they don't swear as much and certainly not as ignorant.
In fact Ms. Tirella takes credit for influencing City Council decisions, election results, political careers, and finding Bin Laden’s hideout. You da girl Rosie. Gotta be a presidential medal in that. Don’t ya think folks? Come on, let's give it up for... Rosie! Rosie! Rosie! USA! USA! USA!
Talking about phonies. Anyone peruse WOMAG’s Best of Worcester? When is that nonsense finally gonna stop. We're curious how many locals voted in this year's poll. Sorry top secret - embarrassingly low. But ya got to do what ya gotta do to sell advertising. What no new ideas to boost circulation WOMAG? Just as we thought.
We bet no more than 300 locals played along, including WOMAG employees, their friends and families. And pets. Rumor has it they validated some votes from Kazakhstan. All in all it may not be statistically relevant considering there’s over 181,000+ folks out there. Not to mention the population of Kazakhstan.
So farewell Daily Worcesteria. We hardly knew you.
RIP.
