The Internet in 2020-What the Experts Predict

I'll tell ya what I expect. Kids are gonna run around like little drones with weird contraptions strapped on their heads like some pseudo-race of cybernetic organisms i.e., Borgs. Their minds will be linked to and controlled by a corporate entity (Google Inc.) with the sole purpose of digitizing anything and everything they come in contact with and then copyrighting it. I had several premonitions as I read the article -  Orwellian in nature. Although the article didn't indicate Armageddon was coming. Anyways, we're considering moving to a distant hollow in Vermont, far from DSL and WiFi. Live life as it should be. 

Here's an excerpt from the NY Times:  "Most experts agree that Google won't make us stupid. Indeed, 76% of technology stakeholders and critics interviewed by the Pew Research Center's Internet & American Life Project and the Imagining the Internet Center at Elon University believe that the Internet and search engines will enhance human intelligence by 2020. For this new report, the Pew Research Center conducted in-depth interviews with over 800 experts about what they think the Internet will look like in 2020."
