Webstats: Worcester

In all honesty, Worcester's  blogosphere is a lot of poop- locals believing whatever they say is somehow unique and important. So finding interesting and unique blogs among the local scallywags is neigh impossible.

That being said. Blogging is a tough game and locals are merciless with their unrelenting criticism. For good reason, most of it sucks and Worcester (wrcstr.com) is a prime example.

Some background here. Wrcstr.com is a joint venture of Nicole Apostola, winner of the WOMAG's 2012 best blog award (blog: nicolecommawoo); a proclaimed catholic blogger and wanna-be reporter Mike Bendetti (blog: pie & coffee); school committee member Tracy Novick (blog: whos of woo-chester), has been around for about 2 years, raking up some pretty dismal stats. Keep in mind, Worcester has a population of 181,00 plus 20 or 25 thousand students and yet all they can attract are 52 visitors. Ouch!

Guess that WOMAG award, wannabe-reporter and politician doesn't quite translate into page loads. As we said, there's a reason for that - its uniquely boring. Posting the city council's Tuesday agenda isn't exactly an achievement.
