It shouldn't come as any surprise that former Worcester city councilor Barbara Haller is anti-business, ironically her campaign donations came mostly from business owners who bribed her to run interference - stop businesses from expanding or setting-up in Worcester. Individual donors were rare. No surprise there. Keep in mind Barbara Haller's history of voting against growing Worcester's tax base. Remember the taxi license fiasco, she was the prime interlocutor depriving Hispanics of economic opportunities, the same with the hot dog cart fiasco, and even gave away public property to the Clark University - for nothing in return. Let's also recall how Barbara Haller floundered miserably dealing with local non-profits and colleges. Not to mention the district 4 voters. So what has she accomplished in 10 years as a Worcester city councilor? Even she doesn't know.
Now she thinks she's a pundit spouting mumbo jumbo about human psyche and technology determined to steal poor folks money. No wonder the D4 voters got rid of her.
So, ever wonder why it seems Worcester is stuck in a time warp?
