Editorials, Intellectually Bankrupt or Just Plain...

Love editorials, they're the heart and soul of a newspaper. Think NYT, Globe, Post. Then think T&G, then moan.

Today’s T&G editorial, Tax Gap, gave one to pause. Not for its brevity or thoughtfulness rather, rather its intellectual vapidness.

Summarizing, business tax bills will increase $4,500 if the council doesn’t act, everybody gets screwed, higher taxes are good for our future. Um... Reminds me of the nonsense coming out of the intellectually bankrupt WRRB.

Makes one wonder, where are the regular editorials of Wusta's other newspapers? That’s what publishers are supposed to do, publish editorials right? Why not in Wusta? And what ever happened to journalistic standards.

Whatever happened to Worcester Magazine editorials? The last one was about a year ago. Before that.... who knows. But Worcester Magazine has little to contribute, its not about journalism, so don’t expect anything that might make you think. Ads get more print space.

And what’s InCity Times’ publisher (misnomer) Rosalie Tirella writing (oops, another misnomer)? Can't spell the word let alone write an editorial; the 53 year old adolescent prefers baring her twisted soul - Pink Gloves, geez… what f-ing crap.

Wusta, home to 9 colleges and universities and this is it?

Welcome to Wusta!
