Without a doubt, Rosalie Tirella has worked hard to attain InCity Time’s reputation for (ahem) journalism.
Let’s clarify one point before we go further. No one in Worcester’s media considers Rosalie Tirella anything more than a crackpot devoid of talent. And if we may add, a good portion of the population too.
Yes, there is a market for sleazy newspapers (Oops! Almost wrote journalism) in Worcester and InCity Times services a small element among us who delight in her vile attacks (what she calls journalism), mindless troglodytes drunk on Rosalie's Fool-Aid who wish nothing less than eternal damnation to those who dare criticize her.
Over the past year we’ve posted statistical data about the local media’s web presence. Nothing we’ve made up - we’ve sourced it from 3rd parties. And some pretty interesting stuff it is. Rosalie Tirella has taken umbrage at our attempt to shed light on InCity Times. Our justification: If they can write about us, we can write about them.
Rosalie Tirella has expended a lot of time and energy the last couple weeks avoiding proving her credibility - being upfront about InCity’s webstats. For some unknown reason Rosalie Tirella doesn’t comprehend that credibility is the sole attribute that characterizes a newspaper’s worth.
InCity Times is simply not what she purports: a newspaper with an extensive local following. With only 200 blog visitors a month and a paper circulation of a few hundred in a city of over 200,000, those numbers do not confirm anything but the fact that InCity Times is... insignificant.
So Rosalie Tirella can huff & puff all she wants.
