Stress Test

It’s been a few years now since I had an angioplasty and the placement of a stent to keep an artery open. As with any operation, some anxiety is to be expected, and I had some of that. No matter how much you’re reassured that the operation is “routine,” it’s easy to focus on that small percentage that is not without complications.

It was around that time that I heard a Christian comedian named Carl Hurley. Now, don’t get the wrong idea. Hurley is not a “preachy” comedian. This set, emanating from his true experience, is very, very funny. I’m no doctor, but I suggest that every cardiologist prescribe this short video for anyone facing this operation. Enjoy!
